7:1 모세가 장막 세우기를 끝내고 그것에 기름을 발라 거룩히 구별하고 또 그 모든 기구와 제단과 그 모든 기물에 기름을 발라 거룩히 구별한 날에

7:2 이스라엘 지휘관들 곧 그들의 조상의 가문의 우두머리들이요 그 지파의 지휘관으로서 그 계수함을 받은 자의 감독된 자들이 헌물을 드렸으니

7:3 그들이 여호와께 드린 헌물은 덮개 있는 수레 여섯 대와 소 열두 마리이나 지휘관 두 사람에 수레가 하나씩이요 지휘관 한 사람에 소 한 마리씩이라 그것들을 장막 앞에 드린지라

1 When Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings. He also anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils. 2 Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted, made offerings. 3 They brought as their gifts before the Lord six covered carts and twelve oxen—an ox from each leader and a cart from every two. These they presented before the tabernacle.

7:4 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

7:5 그것을 그들에게서 받아 레위인에게 주어 각기 직임대로 회막 봉사에 쓰게 할지니라

4 The Lord said to Moses, 5 “Accept these from them, that they may be used in the work at the tent of meeting. Give them to the Levites as each man’s work requires.”

7:6 모세가 수레와 소를 받아 레위인에게 주었으니

7:7 곧 게르손 자손들에게는 그들의 직임대로 수레 둘과 소 네 마리를 주었고

7:8 므라리 자손들에게는 그들의 직임대로 수레 넷과 소 여덟 마리를 주고 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말에게 감독하게 하였으나

7:9 고핫 자손에게는 주지 아니하였으니 그들의 성소의 직임은 그 어깨로 메는 일을 하는 까닭이었더라

6 So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites. 7 He gave two carts and four oxen to the Gershonites, as their work required, 8 and he gave four carts and eight oxen to the Merarites, as their work required. They were all under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest. 9 But Moses did not give any to the Kohathites, because they were to carry on their shoulders the holy things, for which they were responsible.

7:10 제단에 기름을 바르던 날에 지휘관들이 제단의 봉헌을 위하여 헌물을 가져다가 그 헌물을 제단 앞에 드리니라

7:11 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시기를 지휘관들을 하루 한 사람씩 제단의 봉헌물을 드릴지니라 하셨더라

10 When the altar was anointed, the leaders brought their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar. 11 For the Lord had said to Moses, “Each day one leader is to bring his offering for the dedication of the altar.”

7:12 첫째 날에 헌물을 드린 자는 유다 지파 암미나답의 아들 나손이라

12 The one who brought his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah.

7:13 그의 헌물은 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:14 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 그것에는 향을 채웠고

7:15 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:16 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

7:17 화목제물로 소 두 마리와 숫양 다섯 마리와 숫염소 다섯 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 마리라 이는 암미나답의 아들 나손의 헌물이었더라

13 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 14 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 15 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 16 one male goat for a sin offering; 17 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Nahshon son of Amminadab.

7:18 둘째 날에는 잇사갈의 지휘관 수알의 아들 느다넬이 헌물을 드렸으니

18 On the second day Nethanel son of Zuar, the leader of Issachar, brought his offering.

7:19 그가 드린 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:20 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 그것에는 향을 채웠고

7:21 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:22 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

7:23 화목제물로 소 두 마리와 숫양 다섯 마리와 숫염소 다섯 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 마리라 이는 수알의 아들 느다넬의 헌물 이었더라

19 The offering he brought was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 20 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 21 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 22 one male goat for a sin offering; 23 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Nethanel son of Zuar.

7:24 셋째 날에는 스불론 자손의 지휘관 헬론의 아들 엘리압이 헌물을 드렸으니

24 On the third day, Eliab son of Helon, the leader of the people of Zebulun, brought his offering.

7:25 그의 헌물도 성소의 세켈로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:26 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:27 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:28 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

25 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 26 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 27 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 28 one male goat for a sin offering; 29 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Eliab son of Helon.

7:30 넷째 날에는 르우벤 자손의 지휘관 스데울의 아들 엘리술이 헌물을 드렸으니

30 On the fourth day Elizur son of Shedeur, the leader of the people of Reuben, brought his offering.

7:31 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:32 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:33 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:34 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

This was the offering of Elizur son of Shedeur.

7:36 다섯째 날에는 시므온 자손의 지휘관 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이 헌물을 드렸으니

36 On the fifth day Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai, the leader of the people of Simeon, brought his offering.

7:37 그 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삽십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:38 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:39 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:40 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

37 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 38 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 39 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 40 one male goat for a sin offering; 41 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

7:42 여섯째 날에는 갓 자손의 지휘관 드우엘의 아들 엘리아삽이 헌물을 드렸으니

42 On the sixth day Eliasaph son of Deuel, the leader of the people of Gad, brought his offering.

7:43 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:44 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

43 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 44 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 45 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 46 one male goat for a sin offering; 47 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Eliasaph son of Deuel.

7:48 일곱째 날에는 에브라임 자손의 지휘관 암미훗의 아들 엘리사가 헌물을 드렸으니l

48 On the seventh day Elishama son of Ammihud, the leader of the people of Ephraim, brought his offering.

7:49 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:50 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:51 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:52 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

49 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 50 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 51 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 52 one male goat for a sin offering; 53 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Elishama son of Ammihud.

7:54 여덟째 날에는 므낫세 자손의 지휘관 브다술의 아들 가말리엘이 헌물을 드렸으니

54 On the eighth day Gamaliel son of Pedahzur, the leader of the people of Manasseh, brought his offering.

7:55 그 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:56 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:57 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:58 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

55 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 56 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 57 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 58 one male goat for a sin offering; 59 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

7:60 아홉째 날에는 베냐민 자손의 지휘관 기드오니의 아들 아비단이 헌물을 드렸으니

60 On the ninth day Abidan son of Gideoni, the leader of the people of Benjamin, brought his offering.

7:61 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:62 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:63 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:64 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

7:65 화목제물로 소 두 마리와 숫양 다섯 마리와 숫염소 다섯 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 마리라 이는 기드오니의 아들 아비단의 헌물이었더라

61 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 62 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 63 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 64 one male goat for a sin offering; 65 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Abidan son of Gideoni.

7:66 열째 날에는 단 자손의 지휘관 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이 헌물을 드렸으니

66 On the tenth day Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai, the leader of the people of Dan, brought his offering.

7:67 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:68 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:69 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:70 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

67 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 68 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 69 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 70 one male goat for a sin offering; 71 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

7:72 열한째 날에는 아셀 자손의 지휘관 오그란의 아들 바기엘이 헌물을 드렸으니

72 On the eleventh day Pagiel son of Okran, the leader of the people of Asher, brought his offering.

7:73 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:74 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:75 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 한 마리이며

7:76 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

7:77 화목제물로 소 두 마리와 숫양 다섯 마리와 숫염소 다섯 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 마리라 이는 오그란의 아들 바기엘의 헌물이었더라

73 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 74 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 75 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 76 one male goat for a sin offering; 77 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Pagiel son of Okran.

7:78 열두째 날에는 납달리 자손의 지휘관 에난의 아들 아히라가 헌물을 드렸으니

78 On the twelfth day Ahira son of Enan, the leader of the people of Naphtali, brought his offering.

7:79 그의 헌물도 성소의 세겔로 백삼십 세겔 무게의 은 쟁반 하나와 칠십 세겔 무게의 은 바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

7:80 또 열 세겔 무게의 금 그릇 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

7:81 또 번제물로 수송아지 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리와 일 년 된 어린 순 양 한 마리이며

7:82 속죄제물로 숫염소 한 마리이며

7:83 화목제물로 소 두 마리와 숫양 다섯 마리와 숫염소 다섯 마리와 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 라리라 이는 에난의 아들 아히라의 헌물이었더라

79 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 80 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 81 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 82 one male goat for a sin offering; 83 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Ahira son of Enan.

7:84 이는 곧 제단에 기름 바르던 날에 이스라엘 지휘관들이 드린 바 제단의 봉헌물이라 은 쟁반이 열 둘이요 은 바리가 열둘이요 금 그릇이 열둘이니

7:85 은 쟁반은 각각 백삼십 세겔 무게요 은 바리는 각각 칠십 세겔 무게라 성소의 세겔로 모든 기구의 은이 모두 이천사백 세겔이요

7:86 또 향을 채운 금 그릇이 열둘이니 성소의 세겔로 각각 열 세겔 무게라 그 그릇의 금이 모두 백이십 세겔이요

7:87 또 번제물로 수송아지가 열두 마리요 숫양이 열두 마리요 일 년 된 어린 숫양이 열두 마리요 그 소제물이며 속죄제물로 숫염소가 열두 마리이며

7:88 화목제물로 수소가 스물네 마리요 숫양이 육십 마리요 숫염소가 육십 마리요 일 년 된 어인 숫양 이 육십 마리라 이는 제단에 기름 바른 후에 드린 바 제단의 봉헌물이었더라

84 These were the offerings of the Israelite leaders for the dedication of the altar when it was anointed: twelve silver plates, twelve silver sprinkling bowls and twelve gold dishes. 85 Each silver plate weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each sprinkling bowl seventy shekels. Altogether, the silver dishes weighed two thousand four hundred shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel. 86 The twelve gold dishes filled with incense weighed ten shekels each, according to the sanctuary shekel. Altogether, the gold dishes weighed a hundred and twenty shekels. 87 The total number of animals for the burnt offering came to twelve young bulls, twelve rams and twelve male lambs a year old, together with their grain offering. Twelve male goats were used for the sin offering. 88 The total number of animals for the sacrifice of the fellowship offering came to twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty male goats and sixty male lambs a year old. These were the offerings for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed.

7:89 모세가 회막에 들어가서 여호와께 말하려 할 때에 증거궤 위 속죄소 위의 두 그룹 사이에서 자기에게 말씀하시는 목소리를 들었으니 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하심이었더라

89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.

민수기 7장은 이스라엘이 성막을 봉헌한 일과 그와 관련된 예물을 드리는 모습을 기록한 장입니다.

오늘 본문은 인구계수에서 지휘관 역할을 했던 각 지파의 대표가 여호와의 장막을 위하여 드린 예물과 그 사용처, 그리고 제단을 위하여 드린 12지파의 헌물에 대한 이야기입니다.

Numbers 7 records the dedication of the tabernacle by Israel and the offerings given in relation to it.

Today's passage describes the offerings presented for the tent of meeting by the leaders of each tribe, who had previously served as commanders during the census, as well as the contributions of the twelve tribes for the altar and their designated purposes.

지휘관들이 장막 앞에 드린 헌물 (1~9절)

모세가 장막 세우기를 끝내고(1a)는 정확하게 언제 일까요?

그것은 출애굽 후 1년 지난, 출애굽 제2년 1월 1일, 광야여행 직전을 말합니다. 실제로 광야로 출발한 것은 2월 20일이기에, 장막을 다 세운 후 약 50여 일의 간의 일이라고 할 수 있습니다.

특별히 모세는 모든 기물에 기름을 발랐습니다.

기름을 바르는 첫번째 의미는 세속적인 것과의 구별하여 하나님의 소유로, “거룩”하게 하는 것입니다.

기름을 바르는 두번째 의미는 그 대상에게 신적인 권위를 부여하는 것입니다.  

사람 같은 경우에는 그리스도, 메시아가 바로 기름 부음 받은 자라는 의미입니다.

구약에는 제사장, 선지자, 왕에게 기름 부었습니다.

한번 기름부음을 받은 것은 되돌리지 못하고 오직 하나님만을 위해서만 쓰임을 받아야 합니다.

하지만 이것이 신약 시대에 와서 예수 그리스도 안에서 완성되었고, 이제는 성령의 기름 부음을 받는 시대가 되었습니다. 누구에게 성령의 기름 부으심이 있습니까?

하나님이 말씀하시기를 말세에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주리니(행 2:17)

하나님은 모든 육체에 성령을 부어 주신다고 말씀하십니다.

그러니 신약 시대에는 그 기름부음, 성령의 기름부음이 모든 믿는 자에게 임하는 것입니다.

어떤 면에서는 우리 모두가 그리스도라고 할 수 있는 것입니다.

우리는 거룩히 구별된 자이고, 하나님의 기름 부음을 받은 자이며, 하나님께 영원히 드려진 것입니다.

Offerings Presented by the Leaders Before the Tabernacle (Numbers 7:1-9)

When exactly did Moses complete the setting up of the tabernacle (v.1a)?

This event took place on the first day of the first month in the second year after the Exodus, right before the Israelites set out on their journey through the wilderness. Since they actually departed on the 20th day of the second month, there was a period of approximately 50 days between the completion of the tabernacle and their departure.

Notably, Moses anointed all the furnishings with oil.

The first significance of anointing with oil is to consecrate something by setting it apart from the secular and dedicating it to God as "holy."

The second significance of anointing is to confer divine authority upon the anointed subject.

In the case of people, the term "Christ" or "Messiah" means "the Anointed One."

In the Old Testament, priests, prophets, and kings were anointed with oil.

Once someone was anointed, it was irreversible; they were to be used solely for God’s purpose.

However, in the New Testament era, this concept was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and now we live in the age of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Who, then, receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit?

God declares:"In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people." (Acts 2:17)

God promises to pour out His Spirit on all flesh.

Thus, in the New Testament era, the anointing—the anointing of the Holy Spirit—is bestowed upon all believers.

In a sense, we can all be considered "Christ" in that we are set apart as holy, anointed by God, and dedicated to Him forever.

백성을 계수한 지휘관들은 모든 계수가 끝나고, 성막을 봉헌하면서 하나님께 헌물을 드립니다(2).

이것은 자발적이고 동일한 헌신이었습니다. 여섯 개의 덮개 있는 수레와 12마리 소, 그리고 이 헌물은 레위지파의 회막 봉사 사역을 위해서 기증되었습니다. 그리고 레위지파는 그들의 역할대로 사용합니다.

가장 무거운 짐을 들어야 하는 므라리에게 네 개의 수레와 여덟 마리의 소를, 그들보다 덜 무거운 짐을 운반하는 게르손에게는 두 개의 수레와 네 마리의 소를, 사람이 직접 운반해야 하는 고핫 자손에게는 그 어떤 것도 주지 않습니다(7~9). 공평하게 지위나 권위가 아닌 필요에 의한 나눔이었습니다.

여기서 발견하는 하나님의 성품은 일을 시키시고 버려 두시는 분이 아니라는 사실입니다. 하나님은 섬김을 위한 힘을 주시는 분이요, 도우시는 분입니다. 일을 맡기신 분이 하나님이라면, 책임지시고 이루시는 분도 하나님이십니다. 너무 걱정할 필요 없습니다.

일을 행하시는 여호와, 그것을 만들며 성취하시는 여호와, 그의 이름을 여호와라 하는 이가

이와 같이 이르시도다. 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고

네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라 (렘 33:2, 3)

교회 일이나 사역, 크고 작은 문제들… 염려할 필요가 없습니다. 이 일을 맡기신 분이 하나님이시고, 기도하면 여호와의 열심이 이 일을 이루실 것이기 때문입니다. 하나님은 우리에게 일을 맡기시고, 필요한 것을 공급하시는 하나님이십니다. 또한 기름 부으심으로 말미암아 성령의 능력을 주셔서 끝까지 그 일을 감당하게 하십니다. 그러므로 힘을 냅시다!

The commanders who conducted the census presented offerings to God upon the completion of the census and the dedication of the tabernacle (v.2).

This was a voluntary and unified act of devotion. They offered six covered carts and twelve oxen, which were donated for the service of the Levites in the tent of meeting. The Levites then used them according to their assigned roles.

The Merarites, who carried the heaviest loads, received four carts and eight oxen. The Gershonites, who carried lighter loads, were given two carts and four oxen. However, the Kohathites, who were required to carry the holy objects by hand, received nothing (vv.7-9). This distribution was based not on status or authority but on necessity.

Here, we see God’s character: He does not simply assign work and abandon His people. Rather, He provides the strength needed for service and offers His help. If God is the one who assigns the task, He is also the one who takes responsibility and ensures its fulfillment. There is no need to worry excessively.

"This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is His name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:2-3)

Whether it is church work, ministry, or any other challenge, there is no need for anxiety. Since it is God who has assigned the task, if we pray, the zeal of the Lord will accomplish it. God entrusts us with responsibilities and provides what is necessary. Through His anointing, He grants the power of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to complete the work. So, let us be encouraged and press on!

지휘관들이 제단 앞에 드린 헌물 (10~89절)

하나님은 이제 각 지파의 지휘관들이 매일 한 사람씩 제단을 위한 봉헌물을 드리라고 하십니다.

그것은 백삼십 세겔(약 1.5kg)의 은 쟁반과 그 반 정도 크기인 칠십 세겔의 대접에 기름 섞은 밀가루를 채우고, 또한 열 세겔(0.11kg) 정도의 금 그릇(숟가락)에 향을 채워 드리는 것입니다.

제사를 위해 드려지는 제물은 번제물로 수송아지, 숫양, 일 년 된 어린 숫양 각각 한 마리와 속죄제물 숫염소 한 마리, 화목제물로 소 두 마리, 숫양 다섯 마리, 숫염소 다섯 마리, 일 년 된 어린 숫양 다섯 마리입니다.   

총 21마리의 짐승이 각 지파의 제단을 위한 봉헌 제물로 모든 지파가 동일하게 드렸습니다.

학자들은 이 많은 제물을 번제단에 올려서 한 번에 태워 드릴 수 있는지에 대해서 의구심을 갖습니다.

이것을 12일 동안 매일 한다는 것도 꽤 어려운 일일 것입니다. 하지만 그렇게 했다고 기록되어 있으니, 우리는 그렇게 믿을 뿐입니다.

분명한 것은 잔치였다는 것입니다. 그 많은 제물을 태워 드리고, 화목제물은 백성들이 함께 나누는 음식입니다. 하나님은 은혜를 주시고, 성도는 그 하나님께 감사의 제사를 드립니다. 은혜와 감사!

이것이 옳은 선순환입니다. 주신 은혜가 너무 감사하여 기쁜 마음으로 자발적으로 드리는 것인 헌금의 가장 기본적인 의미입니다. 또한 이것은 축복입니다.

Offerings Presented by the Leaders Before the Altar (Numbers 7:10-89)

God instructed the leaders of each tribe to present their offerings for the altar, one per day.

Each leader was to bring a silver plate weighing 130 shekels (about 1.5 kg) and a silver bowl weighing 70 shekels, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil. Additionally, they were to offer a gold dish (spoon) weighing about 13 shekels (0.11 kg), filled with incense.

The sacrificial offerings included:

• A burnt offering: one young bull, one ram, and one one-year-old male lamb.

• A sin offering: one male goat.

• A fellowship offering: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old male lambs.

Each tribe offered a total of 21 animals for the dedication of the altar, and all tribes presented the same offerings.

Scholars have debated whether it was physically possible to burn such a large number of sacrifices on the altar at once. Performing this ritual daily for 12 days would have been a challenging task. However, since the Scripture records that it was done, we simply trust that it happened as written.

What is clear is that this was a great feast. The numerous offerings were burned, and the fellowship offerings were shared among the people. God bestowed His grace, and the people responded with thanksgiving. Grace and gratitude!

This is the right cycle: receiving God’s grace, giving thanks, and joyfully offering back to Him. This principle also forms the foundation of giving—it is an expression of gratitude for God’s abundant blessings. Indeed, it is a blessing in itself.

마지막 구절을 보니, 증거궤 위 속죄소에서 말씀하시는 하나님의 음성을 모세가 듣습니다(89).

얼마나 놀라운 은혜요, 축복입니까? 그래서 속죄소 두 그룹의 날개 사이를 시은소, 시은좌라고 말합니다.

그런데 이 모든 장막, 제단에 대한 봉헌식은 우리가 하나님께로 나갈 수 있는 장막이 되시고, 번제단이 되시는 예수님을 예표하는 것입니다. 바로 우리를 위해 십자가에 제물이 되시고, 죽으실 예수에 대한 감사의 봉헌이 민수기 7장입니다.

광야의 이스라엘처럼 우리 역시 우리의 장막이시고, 번제단 되신 예수께 감사의 예물을 드려야 할 것입니다. 물질만 의미하는 것이 아닙니다. 나의 전 생애를 드려야 할 것입니다.

그분이 우리를 위해 그렇게 하셨던 것처럼 말입니다.   

In the final verse, Moses hears the voice of God speaking to him from above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant (v.89).

What an amazing grace and blessing! This is why the space between the wings of the cherubim is called the mercy seat, the throne of grace.

However, the entire dedication of the tabernacle and the altar ultimately points to Jesus, who became our tabernacle and our burnt offering. Numbers 7 is a foreshadowing of Jesus, who would become the sacrifice on the cross for us, and our gratitude for His ultimate offering.

Just as the Israelites in the wilderness offered their gifts, we too must bring our offerings of thanksgiving to Jesus, who is our tabernacle and our altar. This is not just about material offerings—it is about dedicating our entire lives.

Just as He gave Himself completely for us.
