2:1 그러나 백성 가운데 또한 거짓 선지자들이 일어났었나니 이와 같이 너희 중에도 거짓 선생들이 있으리라 그들은 멸망하게 할 이단을 가만히 끌어들여 자기들을 사신 주를 부인하고 임박한 멸망을 스스로 취하는 자들이라
2:2 여럿이 그들의 호색하는 것을 따르리니 이로 말미암아 진리의 도가 비방을 받을 것이요
2:3 그들이 탐심으로써 지어낸 말을 가지고 너희로 이득을 삼으니 그들의 심판은 옛적부터 지체하지 아니하며 그들의 멸망은 잠들지 아니하느니라
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
2:4 하나님이 범죄한 천사들을 용서하지 아니하시고 지옥에 던져 어두운 구덩이에 두어 심판 때까지 지키게 하셨으며
2:5 옛 세상을 용서하지 아니하시고 오직 의를 전파하는 노아와 그 일곱 식구를 보존하시고 경건하지 아니한 자들의 세상에 홍수를 내리셨으며
2:6 소돔과 고모라 성을 멸망하기로 정하여 재가 되게 하사 후세에 경건하지 아니할 자들에게 본을 삼으셨으며
2:7 무법한 자들의 음란한 행실로 말미암아 고통 당하는 의로운 롯을 건지셨으니
2:8 (이는 의인이 그들 중에 거하여 날마다 저 불법한 행실을 보고 들음으로 그 의로운 심령이 상함이라)
2:9 주께서 경건한 자는 시험에서 건지실 줄 아시고 불의한 자는 형벌 아래에 두어 심판 날까지 지키시며
2:10 특별히 육체를 따라 더러운 정욕 가운데서 행하며 주관하는 이를 멸시하는 자들에게는 형벌할 줄 아시느니라
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.
이들은 당돌하고 자긍하며 떨지 않고 영광 있는 자들을 비방하거니와
2:11 더 큰 힘과 능력을 가진 천사들도 주 앞에서 그들을 거슬러 비방하는 고발을 하지 아니하느니라
Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from the Lord.
베드로 사도는 영적 성장에 대해 글을 쓴 후 교회 내의 거짓 선지자들에 대해 언급합니다. 그는 백성들 가운데 거짓 선지자들이 있었던 것처럼, 믿는 이들 사이에서도 거짓 선생들이 나타나 파괴적인 이단을 소개하고 그들을 구속한 주를 부인하며 스스로에게 급속한 멸망을 초래할 것이라고 경고합니다. 많은 사람들이 그들의 관능을 따라갈 것이며 그 결과 진리의 길이 왜곡될 것입니다. 베드로는 이러한 거짓 선생들을 사람들을 이용하고 자신의 이득을 위해 날조된 이야기로 속이는 사기꾼으로 폭로하며 과거에 하나님이 그들을 심판하는 데 주저하지 않았다는 점을 상기시킵니다. 특히 하나님께서 죄를 짓고도 용서받지 못한 천사들을 지옥에 던져 어두운 구덩이에 묶어 둔 채 심판을 기다리게 하셨다고 언급합니다.

Apostle Peter, after writing about spiritual growth, speaks about false prophets within the church. He warns that just as there were false prophets among the people, there will be false teachers among the believers who will introduce destructive heresies and deny the Lord who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.
He discusses how many will follow their sensuality, and as a result, the way of truth will be skewed.
Peter exposes these false teachers as frauds who exploit people with made-up stories for their own gain, reminding us that God did not hesitate to judge them in the past.
He notably mentions that God did not spare even the angels who sinned but cast them into hell, reserving them in chains of darkness for judgment.
Peter then refers to the flood during Noah’s time as a demonstration of God’s judgment, where God did not spare the old world but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, along with seven others.
He also recalls the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, turning them to ashes as an example to the ungodly, and how God rescued Lot who was a righteous man.
Peter affirms that while God rescues the godly from trials, the unrighteous are kept under punishment until the day of judgment, stressing that the ungodly indulge in the lusts of the flesh and despise authority.
He notes that the audacious and arrogant even slander celestial beings; yet, angels, despite being more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such individuals.
This highlights the extreme arrogance of the wicked, who slander beings far more powerful than themselves.
사도 베드로는 교회 내의 거짓 교사들에게 현혹되어 그릇된 교리를 따르게 될 수 있다고 신자들에게 경고하며, 그의 시대뿐만 아니라 오늘날에도 널리 퍼져 있는 이단과 거짓 교훈의 유혹에 대해 경고합니다. 이러한 시기는 예수님의 승천 이후 모든 세대가 종말의 시대이며, 사탄이 사람들을 미혹하려는 극심한 노력이 특징이라고 보여줍니다.
이단은 종종 비슷한 진리로 시작하지만 결국에는 크게 벗어나게 됩니다.그들은 사랑에 이끌려 친절과 열정으로 시작할 수 있지만, 결국에는 사악함, 속임수 및 증오로 끝나게 됩니다.
그러나 이러한 특성은 이단에만 국한되지 않고 개인의 이익을 위해 거짓으로 가르치는 모든 사람들에게서 볼 수 있습니다.
복음을 진정으로 이해하지 못하면 거짓의 가면을 쓰고 개인의 이익을 위해 섬기게 됩니다.

Apostle Peter cautions believers to be wary of false teachers within the church, leading them astray with erroneous doctrines. This is a warning against the seductions of heresies and false teachings, a problem as prevalent today as it was during Peter's time.
Such times demonstrate that every generation post-Ascension is an end-time era, marked by Satan’s intense efforts to lead people astray.
Heretics often begin with similar truths but eventually diverge greatly from them.
They may start with acts of kindness and zeal, driven by love, but they end in wickedness, deception, and hatred.
However, these characteristics are not limited to heretics but are seen among all who teach falsely for personal gain.
Without a true understanding of the Gospel, one can end up serving personal interests under the guise of falsehood.
Paul advises believers to stay away from such people, warning against those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine learned.
False teachers typically begin with deceit and progress towards immorality, leading to a blasphemy of the truth.
오늘날 이러한 교훈과 해당 비도덕적 행동은 교회에 대한 비방을 불러일으키고 하나님의 영광을 가립니다.

교회는 세상을 높이는 대신 하나님을 찬양하고 하나님께 영광 돌려야 해야 합니다.
하나님 대신 세상을 찬양하고 섬기면 거짓과 타협을 하게 되고, 개인이 죄와 비도덕성에 쉽게 빠지게 됩니다.
거짓과 비도덕의 길은 결국 죽음으로 이어집니다.
Today, such teachings and corresponding immoral behaviors bring defamation to the Church and obscure God's glory.
Even a well-known pastor, once managing thousands, faced scandal and criticism, demonstrating the damaging aftermath of failing to address such issues appropriately.
Look at Hillsong Church. A lot of the praise songs that we sing even today were written by Hillsong Church. But about a year ago, Brian Houston, the founder of Hillsong Church, had to step down due to hiding the fact that his father pastor Frank Houston was a pedophile. He had relationships with at least seven boys.
News like this defames the church. It hides the glory of God. The world will point at the church and say, “Look! The church thinks they are all good and holy but they are actually trash! Why should we go to church if they are sometimes even worse than us!”
The church needs to worship and glorify God but is instead just worshipping the world.
Worshipping the world instead of God and Gospel lead to compromises with falsehood, making individuals prone to sin and immorality.
This path of lies and immorality will inevitably lead to death.
그래서 우리가 이 사악한 길에서 벗어나기 위해 바울은 디모데전서 6장 3-6절에서 예수 그리스도의 가르침을 듣기 시작해야 한다고 말합니다.
누구든지 다른 교훈을 하며 바른 말 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 말씀과 경건에 관한 교훈을 따르지 아니하면 그는 교만하여 아무 것도 알지 못하고 변론과 언쟁을 좋아하는 자니 이로써 투기와 분쟁과 비방과 악한 생각이 나며 마음이 부패하여지고 진리를 잃어 버려 경건을 이익의 방도로 생각하는 자들의 다툼이 일어나느니라 그러나 자족하는 마음이 있으면 경건은 큰 이익이 되느니라
바울은 무엇을 말하고 있습니까? 하나님의 말씀, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 가르침 없이는 아무것도 이해하지 못한다고 합니다. 우리 모두 부패할 것이라고 합니다. 그래서 이 세상의 길에서 벗어나려면 하나님의 목소리에 더욱 귀 기울여 들어야 합니다.
So for us stay of this path of wickedness, Paul writes in 1 Timothy 6:3-6 that it all starts from listening to the instruction of Jesus Christ
3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5 and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
What is Paul saying? Without the Word of God, without the instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ, we will not be able to understand anything. We would all be corrupt. So for get us get off this worldly path, we need to listen even more for the voice of God.

우리의 일상은 영적 전투입니다. 아무것도 하지 않으면 100% 패배합니다. 하지만 주 안에 거하면, 우리는 승리를 알게 됩니다.
주 안에 거하면, 우리는 영원한 기업을 받게 됩니다.
우리의 모든 삶 가운데 영생의 기쁨과 충만이 풍성하게 나타나기를 기도합니다.
From today’s scripture in 2 Peter verses 5 to 7 Peter refers to times of God’s judgements like those during Noah's and Abraham's times, to illustrate the consequences of wickedness and immorality.
He also points out that even the righteous are susceptible to temptation and spiritual distress in a corrupt era, highlighting the importance of remaining within the community of truth of the Word of God.
Although Lot lived in the land of Sodom and enjoyed physical prosperity, he led a spiritually desolate life. Consequently, despite being rescued from Sodom, his daughters deceived him into committing incest.
This reflects how deeply ingrained a culture of sin can become, showing that a life detached from the community of truth and life inevitably bears the fruits of sin.
Therefore, Paul declares that believers must fight the good fight of faith to live a life of eternal salvation.
"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." (1 Timothy 6:11-12)
Our daily life is a spiritual battle. If we do nothing, we will 100% lose. However, if we abide in the Lord, we know that it will bring us victory. If we abide in the Lord, we will receive an eternal inheritance.
I pray that the joy and fulfillment of eternal life abundantly manifest in my life and in the lives of all members of the church.
